To celebrate the olympics Chilingarov has suggested to RIA Novosti that Russia would be happy to see Canada’s flag flying at the North Pole, alongside Russia’s tricolour.  A brilliant move.  We are we all fighting about this pole?  Chilingarov is an excellent ambassador for Russia on this issue.
